I’ll explain clearly, exactly where, and what you can / cannot change.
🔴 IMPORTANT TRUTH FIRST (VERY CLEAR)
With Jetpack Subscriptions (FREE):
❌ You CANNOT fully customize the email template text
❌ You CANNOT edit subject/body like a newsletter
✅ You CAN control limited text + site details
✅ You CAN control sender, site name, and some wording
This is by design (Jetpack handles emails via WordPress.com).
✅ WHAT EMAILS JETPACK SENDS (2 TYPES)
1️⃣ Confirmation Email
Sent when user subscribes
2️⃣ New Post Notification Email
Sent automatically when you publish a new post

📍 WHERE TO GO
Go to:
Jetpack → Settings → Discussion (or Engagement)
Scroll to Subscriptions
You will see:
“Allow users to subscribe…”
“Send email when someone follows…”
⚠️ You won’t see a text editor here — that’s normal.
🔧 WHAT YOU CAN CHANGE
Jetpack pulls content from:
✅ Site Title
📍 Settings → General → Site Title
This appears in:
Email subject
Email header
